Who we are

Usually Labs LLC (“we”) is a San Francisco-based technology company developing products for aging and independence. Our first product is Usually Home. You can reach us at hello@usuallylabs.com.

What this page covers

This page describes what happens to information you give us on this website. The Usually Home app has its own privacy policy, which is provided with the app.

The waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you type and the date you typed it. That is all we store. We ask for nothing else.

We use that address for one thing: to write to you about Usually Home. We do not:

Every email we send carries a way to unsubscribe. You can also ask us to delete your address at any time by writing to the address above, and we will do it and confirm.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. There is nothing here that follows you to another website. Our web server keeps ordinary request logs, which include IP addresses, for a short period so we can keep the site running and secure.

Fonts

The typeface on this site is served by Google Fonts, so loading a page asks Google’s servers for the font files. Google receives the request as part of that, which includes your IP address.

Where the data is held

Waitlist addresses are held on a server in Germany, operated for us by Contabo GmbH. We keep them until the product launches or until you ask us to remove yours, whichever comes first.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or the EU, you have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to complain to your data protection regulator. In practice we hold one email address and one date, and we will delete both on request without asking why.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that affects you, we will say so here and date it. The version you are reading is dated at the top.
